Curtis Pope, CFP® CFT-I™

Curtis is an independent fee-only financial planner in New York City. He is passionate about building meaningful relationships, comprehensive financial planning, and helping clients reach their goals.

Over the past decade Curtis has advised hundreds of diverse clients at Citi, Morgan Stanley, Wealthsimple and Northstar Money. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ and Certified Financial Therapist-I™ Professional with a BA in Economics, a Master's degree from Columbia University, and a graduate certificate in financial planning from Northwestern University. He earned FINRA's Series 7 & 66 licenses (inactive), and is the two-time recipient of Morgan Stanley's Pacesetter's Club award for "Highest professional standards and first class service." 

On the weekends he’s outside with his partner Melanie and their precocious Australian Shepherd (Sadie). They’re often exploring city parks, trying new restaurants, hiking upstate, or boating on the Hudson River. Curtis coaches golf at the Trinity School and volunteers with Cents-ability - teaching financial literacy to students in NYC public schools.
